Every year, La Bellone hosts several artists or groups of artists for research residencies. Compiled in collaboration between the artists and the team at La Bellone’s documentation center, Vrille seeks to connect two key aspects: to reveal and share the ever-unique movement and style of the research as it grows and branches out, but also to gather, reexamine, and revisit these interconnections a few months later, in order to eventually revisit certain branches that remained in the shadows. Not so much to produce a synthesis as to (re)trace the contours of an ongoing process.
