Fields
In Fields, choreographer Franziska Aigner turns towards the measurement of the theatre space and address it as the interior of a world. She substracts the body from the choreography, to make it happen in the concrete materiality of the stage. The absence of the body becomes an artistic strategy to activate all the affective and semantic potential of the theatre space. She inscribes materials, textures, atmospheric states and processes into the appearing interspaces. These spaces disarrange the stage through folding and unfolding, retaining and oozing out, crushing, decaying, hiding, smoothing, roughening and retelling. Fields is a retelling of the space, a reinvention of choreographic subjects.
