Autour de l'improvisation
Creators: Rogério Costa, Patricia Kuypers, Inés Pérez-Wilke
The marginality of improvisational practices and studies has led to the development of an almost invisible network of practitioners, including improvisers from a variety of backgrounds. The interest in deepening reflection and the need to spread the seeds of knowledge, which is by its very nature fleeting, have led to the written collection of the traces of these journeys in a heterogeneous object made up of images and texts by artists and researchers. These texts, multilingual (French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian), speak from their respective territories, and are articulated in three categories: Somatic, Poetic and Political.improvisation emphasizes solidarity and processes that involve collective and individual creativity, and demands shared responsibility, an ability to negotiate differences and a willingness to accept the challenges of risk and contingency. These contributions, open to virtualities and diversity, help to broaden thinking in the field, with a plurality of perspectives that could also nourish the future of a decolonized world, more welcoming, egalitarian, creative and in harmony with nature.
