Collision(s)
Creators: Jim Clayburgh, Jo Mayeu, Michel François, Isabella Soupart
On stage, two performers, a man and a woman, evoke events that might not have happened or should not have happened.A veritable choreography of gesture and meaning, "Collision(s)" is constructed as an almost cubist accumulation of points of view and alternative scenarios. Between dialogue and body language, the performers glide from one situation to another, telling as much as they embody. Works by philosophers, including Gilles Deleuze's "L'Abécédaire", in which each letter refers to a word, from "A as in Animal" to "Z as in Zigzag", served as material for the construction of this performance.
