Corpo mundo
Creators: David Le Borgne, Jordi Gali Merendez, Vania Vaneau
"Corpo Mundo" is a book-object that explores the interaction between the body and the world through choreography and the humanities. It was created by Vânia Vaneau and Jordi Galí, choreographers and co-directors of the "Arrangement Provisoire" choreographic platform. Through their work, "Corpo Mundo" explores how the body interacts with the living and the inanimate, influenced by physical and energetic forces. Conceived as a dialogue between dance and various disciplines (mathematics, Zen philosophy, visual arts, architecture), it reveals the choreographic gesture as a vector of interconnection between matter and the universe. The book is conceived as a magazine, with a variety of articles and columns: interviews, correspondence between the two choreographers, analyses, poetry and suggestions for artistic practices to explore on one's own. It is illustrated with previously unpublished photos by David Le Borgne, a photographer who has been collaborating with Cie Arrangement Provisoire for several years; and with drawings taken from the artists' personal notebooks and creative or practical notebooks.
