Huddle

Created in the 60's by Simone Forti, Huddle is a performance that brings together 5 to 8 people standing, who, intertwined with each other, form a single material. One after the other, the members climb this "human mountain" to come down on the other side. This principle questions the themes of support and protagonist, of community, as well as concepts more fundamentally linked to the body such as gravity, weight or contact. The present of the composition redefines the stakes of the form in perpetual change. Always the same thing, never the same thing.
