Body_Remix/Goldberg Variations

Ballet in two acts that was created at the Venice Biennale, as part of the International Festival of Contemporary Dance in 2005. Ten dancers of the company play with objects and prostheses, which free their movements, constrain them, or create them. The accessories modify the body's forms as well as the gestures. Marie Chouinard proposes an interpretation of Johann Sebastian Bach's Goldberg Variations, in which the work of movement becomes in turn subtle and extravagant, sumptuous and wild.
