Joséphine Baker, première icône noire
Creators: Ilana Navaro, Marc-Olivier Dupin
Josephine Baker, a free and committed woman, was born into poverty, became a cabaret dancer, and used her fame to serve many causes. Notably in the resistance against the Nazis and against the injustices suffered by the African-American community. Ilana Navaro's montage film, with superb documents, reminds us of the chronology of an epic life.
