MONDE
Creators: Simon Carlier, Julien Carlier, Carlos Ameller, François Lefebvre, Jean Jacques Deneumoustier
MY/DE is inspired by sleep paralysis, a disorder that causes a paralysis of the body when falling asleep or waking up while the subject is fully conscious. They are accompanied by visual, auditory and physical hallucinations, which can cause strong anguish. Through different hip-hop techniques, the dance brings the performers into this strange state where reality, matter and time are distorted. On stage, the three dancers explore this phenomenon that can be transposed to our daily fears and to the codes and roles that society imposes on us. They find themselves confronted with their darker sides and the inner demons that inhabit them.
