Dancers!
Creators: Bud Blumenthal, Peter Maschke, Laurence Halloy, Jean-Stephane Malherbe, Reynald Halloy, Sergine Laloux
Created by Bud Blumenthal, the installation DANCERS! aims to put the dancer back at the center, allowing him to showcase his own artistic work without the prism of the choreographer or the constraint of a scenography. In the public space, DANCERS! invites the passer-by to apprehend the dancer as he is, in all his purity, simply with all his complexity. Thanks to a playful interface, the spectator navigates according to his own reading keys and views on a giant screen solos of professional dancers of different styles and techniques from all over the world. Each of them has a fixed duration of 2 minutes and a rigorously identical technical and scenic framework.
