La Curva

La Curva (the curve, the turn) draws a kind of self-portrait, the way of being and approaching life of the flamenco dancer. Galvan tries to break the codes, to rid the thousand-year-old dance of all folklore, provoking admiration or scandal. Tribute to two great dancers, Antonio el Bailarin and Vicente Escudero (1887-1980). A show that brings together different types of music: gypsy singing is mixed with more improvised music from another world.
