In this duet Claudio Bernardo, approaches the history of a Brazil crossed by violence, where the conditions of life can be rough and the instinct of survival obligatory. Inspired by the reading of Gaspard, Melchior and Baltazar by Michel Tournier, he decided to confront the adventures of the fourth Magus King told by Michel Tournier, Taor of Mangalore, who was imprisoned for a time in Sodom and forced to work in the salt mines, with the reality of the miners of the Serra Pelada located in the east of Brazil. These gold mines, transformed into a labor camp, had more than 40,000 men who, deprived of women, worked tirelessly in the mud and without any other tool than the strength of their arms.
