de l'air et du vent - Extrait
Creators: Pierre Droulers
In 1996, de l'air et du vent was one of choreographer Pierre Droulers' masterpieces. In this profoundly plastic work (created in collaboration with Belgian artist Ann Veronica Janssens), Pierre Droulers once again confronts pure dance, the energy of bodies swept up in a storm of races, sounds and gestures. Built on the singularity and commitment of five magnificent performers, the show combines the materiality of things and the delicacy of air. The tearing of a sheet of paper resonates like a thunderclap, the flight of plastic bags evokes a cloud race... Sound textures, colors, light, space, objects - Pierre Droulers approaches stage and dance as a sculptor and landscape artist. He invites us to assemble the various elements present on the stage into a dance poem from which thoughts, sensations and emotions emerge.
