Creators: Christine Quoiraud
Christine Quoiraud was a member of Maï-Juku, Min Tanaka's international company based in Japan, from 1985 to 1990. There, she practiced Body Weather research, initiated by Min Tanaka and developed by members of the troupe including Frank van de Ven, Katerina Bakatsaki, Oguri and Tess de Quincey. Returning to France, she continued her research by offering large-scale summer workshops entitled Corps/Paysage (Body/Landscape), then from the 2000s, by working around walking, inviting trainees and audiences to intensive periods of walking, dance and improvisation. This dossier describes the research she is carrying out at CN D between 2018 and 2020 in collaboration with Moni Hunt, Marina Pirot and Alix de Morant.
