South of Brussels, in the 1920s, Floréal, one of the first garden cities, was built by its residents. Architects: Eggericx, François and Moenaerts. Town planner: Van Der Swaelmen. Uniformity and simplicity of basic materials. Diversification and individualization through the complexity and flexibility of combinative play. The film's composition is based on the same premise: a rhythmic montage structures architectural details and portraits of inhabitants.
