Hisolo
Creators: Luc Ferrari, Michèle Noiret
"Hisolo, specially conceived for dancer Emilio Gutiérrez, can be seen as a gradual appropriation of the senses and the body. A long period of immobility introduces the piece. Standing with his head buried under a cloth, the dancer seems to be collected within himself, listening to the world in which he is preparing to act. The encounter with the outside world takes the form of dry movements, impulses that slip out of control, escaping consciousness and will like a slip of the tongue. Then, the dance channels itself, the body storms and calms down, at the random of small texts that the dancer takes out of his pocket and that lead to the enigmatic presence of a suspended fish. Hisolo bears the hallmark of two creative temperaments that happily feed off each other: Michèle Noiret's clear, refined dance blends with the Hispanic mystery and mysticism of the superb dancer Emilio Gutiérrez".
