Khouyoul

The origin of Khouyoul is Horses. Created by the Belgian collective Kabinet K (Joke Laureyns and Kwint Manshoven), Horses associates professional dancers and children in a choreography that illustrates an ideal relationship of trust between generations. Khouyoul is the recreation of this show by LArt Rue, a Tunisian association. Twelve people give body to Khouyoul: six children, three adults and three musicians. Thanks to a subtle game of lifts, the artists present on stage oscillate between the serious and the playful. They question the relationships that link children and adults, everywhere in the world. In this sense, apart from the music, little separates Horses from Khouyoul.
