La mémoire du terrain
Creators: Joana B Polge
Moving is like an obsession. If we go up, if we cover our tracks, if we never stay in one place for long, it's to escape those who come up to us: down below, the wolves are tracking us, looking for us, and so that they don't find us, we go up. No one knows exactly what they look like. Those who have seen them don't talk about it: they're dead. That's what they say: "If you see a wolf, it's stalking you". Among the little ones, there are a few who would brave any danger for a chance to see them. We sometimes talk about it among ourselves, but never in the village. On the way to the farms, there are a few blackthorn groves where the big girls don't venture: there, we're sure no one can hear us.
