In this study, Brigitte Gauthier presents the emergence of the dance movement so typical of Pina Bausch. Her work is based on the texts of Ervin Goffman (1922-1982) on the dramatization of everyday experience. Goffman essentially worked on the places where people interact. There are thresholds between our different activities, those moments of passage from one state to another. This is where the link emerges. This is where Goffman's method can help us understand the unique work of Pina Bausch.
