In Leaves of Grass Bud Blumenthal (Cie HYBRID) addresses ecology, love, struggle and survival. In an environment made of elements of the plant world, six dancers embody humanity and tell the story of man's relationship with his environment and his hopes for the future. To the sense of catastrophe and imminent extinction, the piece brings together the movement from the individual to the collective. "The struggle for ecology is a struggle for love. It is about embracing life rather than death. The change is through bodies in space and dance allows the representation of this change. Bud Blumenthal
