Perform Back Score: Conditions for the Emergence of Poetics

The book "Perform Back Score" is the result of three months of dialog played, drawn and written within a group of artistic researchers, each immersing themselves in a study of the conditions of emergence of poetics. Poetics is understood here as "acts" that transform our ways of perceiving, as situations that invite a different understanding of "things". The book documents the process in three parts of different formats: a chronological part and a reflective part, as well as a visual interpretation of the dialogue. This publication by the a.pass research center was created from the "Perform Back Score" practice proposed by the program's associate curator, Lilia Mestre, during the a.pass block from January to April 2015.
