This show brings together 6 contemporary dancers from TanzMainz (D) and the superb Belgian accordionist Philippe Thuriot, around J.S. Bach's Goldberg Variations. "Sehnsucht" is the German word for melancholy and unfulfilled desire. And in a broader sense, the look at what we didn't dare to do, what remains unfinished or imperfect... What have we let slip through our fingers? "Sehnsucht" is a way of expressing deep dissatisfaction with oneself hic et nunc.
