"Showtime" is the third and final installment in a cycle of dance and musical theater performances inspired by the history of American theater from 1830 to the present day. "Showtime" is inspired by the American musical, and in particular by the genre known as "backstage musical", in which the complex interplay between the representation of life on stage and real life backstage is meticulously constructed. Backstage life, with all its intrigues and rivalries, creates numerous conflicts and misunderstandings.
