Three dancers dressed entirely in primary-colored latex costumes move around the stage, creating a variety of compositions, a kind of living, moving installation. Thierry Smits takes the pictorial work and interprets it in an offbeat choreography, marked by his own personal touch of irony, facetiousness, grief and distress. He blithely transgresses the boundaries between elitist and mass culture, classical and popular music, movements from the classical dance repertoire and dislocated handstands, combining them in disturbing tableaux.
