Wha7ch Morocco
Creators: Peter Maschke, Milan Emmanuel
In Darija (an Arabic dialect spoken in Morocco), the word "Whach" means "strong". It is with a great sense of pride and an inextinguishable positive energy that the dancers brought together on this project articulate respect for tradition and openness to the world. Coming for the most part from the working classes, as is often the case in hip-hop culture, they are not resigned to the social divide. Their artistic practice heightens their awareness of the realities they face, while stoking their passion for their transformations. source: nowayback.pro
