Biography
Caroline Cornélis was born in Brussels in 1973. She has worked with choreographers such as Claudio Bernardo, Frédéric Flamand, Michèle Noiret, Paulo Ribeiro and Mélanie Munt, and founded the Nyash company in 2006. The company's aim is to bring contemporary dance to young audiences through a body language that is engaged and poetic. Taking as its starting point the familiar and the tangible, the company invites spectators to travel through a world of sensation. Inspired by the world of children, Caroline Cornélis draws her inspiration from their vision of the world and their imagination.
