Biography
Born in Brussels in 1956, Patrick Bonté has written for radio, film and theatre, and has directed a number of plays. Since 1985, he has been associated with the choreographer Nicole Mossoux, creating performances that have been presented in over thirty countries. Their works attempts to explore the troubled areas of our sensibility in order to show and think differently about our relationship with the world: through a strange familiarity, a humour, a cold intimacy. At the frontiers of dance, theatre, Nicole Mossoux and Patrick Bonté's performances explore the contradictions that reveal the complexity of our actions and behaviour. Patrick Bonté is also General and Artistic Director of Les Brigittines, Centre d'Art contemporain du Mouvement de la Ville de Bruxelles.
