Biography
After studying dance in Caen and at the CNDC in Angers, Samuel Lefeuvre moved to Brussels in 2001 and worked for Michèle Anne De Mey and Les Ballets C. de la B before meeting Gabriela Carrizo and Franck Chartier, who invited him to join Peeping Tom. Since then he has also worked with Jérôme Bel, Boris Charmatz and musician Raphaëlle Latini. In 2012, he founded the DEMESTRI & LEFEUVRE company with Florencia Demestri. Together they create hybrid shows in which the question of strangeness is always central, with a focus on a dramaturgy of the senses and not of meaning. Using non-linear storytelling techniques and an intense, unconventional physicality, they invite the audience to let go and explore a multiple, intuitive reading.
