(A+X+P) is a documentary choreographic performance by Mauro Paccagnella (choreographer) and Eric Valette (visual artist and researcher). It is the result of a series of dance workshops with elderly people (residents of the Résidence Sainte-Gertrude), unaccompanied minor refugees (in reception at Fedasil) and adults in integration (in ISP training at the Centrale Culturelle Bruxelloise). The artistic project questions each person's commitment to the complexity of living together, and the need to (re)get to know others. The performance is based on the relationship between different social groups, some identified as artistic (A) and others as non-artistic: workshop participants (X) and the public (P), each carrying a potential risk for the triangular balance of the equation (A+X+P). Captured at Théâtre Les Tanneurs in April 2019.
