Ten years after the film Solo directed by Belgian filmmaker Thierry Knauff, seventeen years after Solo Stockhausen and thirty-seven years after her debut with composer Karlheinz Stockhausen, choreographer, dancer and company director Michèle Noiret plunges once again into the heart of her artistic roots. Tied to the history of this new creation Palimpsest, the film draws a portrait of this Belgian artist. At each step of her creation, until the premiere of her solo in Nantes in May 2014, Michèle Noiret reveals some of the territories she has explored and is still exploring today. She who, without respite, continues her search for new ways of physical and visual expression. She who takes the risk to confront her body of today with the one of yesterday.
