"Everything takes place in the isolation of an artistic residency in the far north. An abstract space, as unreal as a cabin surrounded by nothing...or bears. Two artists are there to create. This is the reason for their presence in this enclosed space, the reason for their cohabitation, the reason for their play, their raison d'être. Two women on a stage apply themselves to being artists, slipping into postures that belong to them as much as they belong to a collective memory, that of divas and rock stars, idols and icons, of those who have extracted themselves from the commonplace, the banal, the contingent, the derisory.
