Partita-s

The title “Partita-s” obviously evokes both the ensemble of instruments—the orchestra—and the sports team, which play their “part” together, thereby filling and shaping a given space and time... Driven both by my previous work and—almost in spite of myself—by these questions and reflections on humanity, its intimate and social nature, “Partita-s” expresses the desire to further explore this sense of “belonging” (urban mimicry, the question of being with the “other”). source: Erika Zueneli For this project, the themes of the aspiration to resemble one another and of self-affirmation were this time juxtaposed with the group, the masses, and the community in the broadest sense. The work focused on humans as social beings, as beings who interact with others. I explored the group as a physical entity, but also the individual as a being physically situated within a group.
