Is it because they have become one with each other that they live this way—without tension, without bitterness, with a kind of kindness? Or, on the contrary, is it because they separated long ago, having stopped loving each other without even realizing it? They move through the space of an apartment—without fanfare and over a thousand such moments—just as one moves through life without seeing it. A domestic comedy—ironic, bittersweet—a snapshot of life, made up of chance encounters and “pas de deux,” where even the exchanges of words are scripted... Driven by curiosity and the desire to decipher the absurdities of the human race, Erika Zueneli places a couple in a space and observes them out of the corner of her eye, between two shifts in time.
