The fruit of a collaboration between London-based photographer and filmmaker Susu Laroche and Nicole Mossoux and Patrick Bonté, Histoire is a wild plunge into a world whose landmarks are constantly destabilized and off-center. Five characters from a bygone era are caught under the magnifying glass of a camera that scrutinizes their postures, their role-playing and their trompe-l'œil appearances. Everything sails under false flags," said Kafka, and they are the first to bear witness... The film was shot in November 2013 using the situations and gestural material from Histoire de l'imposture, a few weeks before the premiere.
