Insert Coin

"Insert Coin," an interdisciplinary installation-performance in which dance, text, imagery, the virtual world, and the soundscape come together, encourages audience participation in a spirit of closeness and intimacy. Among the audience, three spectator-players can interact with three performers positioned behind a transparent screen, connected only by a headset and a navigation device. The voyeuristic audience moves freely in front of them. Text, dance, and satire intertwine around themes such as manipulation, gratification, and physical and mental control.
