Matter is in perpetual agitation, never resting. The forms of reality we know rise and fall from this uninterrupted flow of energy. Everything is movement, and everything is driven by an inextinguishable need to exist and transmit. "THE GYRE" is a piece based on an extremely simple action: walking. This simplicity delicately transports us into the hems of time and the awareness of a universe without absence. The two dancers whirl around tirelessly, unfolding step by step a captivating score of intertwined movements.
