Une Anatomie de Mouvements

UADM.TV is a project to collect physical performances that began in May 2022. This participatory documentary initiative takes the form of a transparent mobile unit—part dance studio, part sound recording studio—where we invite participants to share a movement of their choice. We have already traveled through several Brussels neighborhoods to collect movements from dance, sports, or other activities. The recorded data gradually forms an archive of the diversity of movement, accessible via the eponymous website uadm.tv. Participants are either passersby encountered on the day of the event or people contacted in advance by our cultural mediator. She researches the local community, school, and cultural networks, among others, in each municipality where we operate and reaches out to individuals likely to have a physical practice to share, whether they are amateurs or professionals. UADM.TV is aimed at all audiences, regardless of age.
