Words
Creators: Isabella Soupart, Jim Clayburgh
A cinematic rewriting of the Collision(s) performance, Isabella Soupart's film "Words" freely declines the concept of Interview. Several phases involve words alone, or their absence, or their distorted meaning. At the heart of the film, dancer Bérengère Bodin recreates the famous interview between Deleuze and Parnet. The words are addressed to an invisible addressee that we try to find. The body, the bestial body, is the only link with reality, dancing and trying to connect with objects. The image is cunningly transformed into a desperate race as the confused sounds of the street take over.
